MRS. HIGHLAND
Mrs. Highland is the 8th Grade Math teacher at Linwood Monroe Arts Plus, and has been with the school for 2 years. She has been with St. Paul Public School for 12 years, and was inspired to join the profession of teaching when she was a swimming instructor of children. She has always loved teaching and working with kids! Mrs. Highland especially enjoys teaching algebra and geometry. In her life outside of school, Mrs. Highland is married and has two daughters. MS. BARLOW
Ms. Barlow has been with Linwood Monroe Arts Plus for 3 years now, and wears several hats, including 7th grade Mathematics teacher, Coach, and Co-Athletic Director. Ms. Barlow has been teaching for 7 years, and joined the St. Paul Public Schools team after attending the Robbinsdale school district as a child. Teaching swimming lessons and coaching baseball & softball helped Ms. Barlow realize she really enjoyed working with youth, which led her to her teaching career. Ms. Barlow has a few favorite highlights of her teaching at LMAP, including teaching the Scale Factor Project, the Chocolate Project, and she also enjoys Coordinating Graphing on the floor.
