Dear Parents and Guardians,
 
Thank you for sending your wonderful students. We have had a smooth beginning to our school year!
 
Our daily schedule is as follows:
9:30-9:50—Morning Meeting
9:50-11:00—Math
Snack
11:00-12:10-Reading
12:10-1:05—Specialist
1:05-1:45-Lunch/recess
1:45-2:45—Intervention/Skills
2:45-3:45-Writing
3:45-Planners/ Homework
3:55-Out to the bus.
 
Students have been given a planner. The planner will be used each day to write assignments in so that your child can stay organized and you can know what they have to do for homework.  It is your job, each day, to go over what is in the planner and sign at the bottom when homework is done. Thank you for what you do at home.  The cost of the planner to the school is $3.00. Please send that money as soon as possible.
 
We will be decorating our writer’s notebooks.  If students want to bring in photos to put on the front they can do that. I will then cover them in clear contact paper.
 
Students have agreed that they should be working together, helping each other, listening to the teacher, being kind to each other, and being in control of their bodies and mouths.  We continue to work on less chatting during class time.
