Jennifer Wegwerth is our Junior High 7th grade U.S. History teacher and 8th grade World Geography teacher. Jen has been a teacher for 15 years, with us at LMAP for two years, and is a dynamic and enthusiastic member of the junior high team!

Jen absolutely loves middle school students, and was influenced to teach by a high school teacher she had who divided up the class book and assigned each student to teach the class one chapter. She loved teaching her chapter, and her future in education was decided.

Highlights in  7th grade U.S. History include learning about the Civil War, and in 8th grade World Geography, students start learning locally, and then about the rest of the world. Students are working on Westward expansion in History, and in Geography students are learning about how geographers acquire and organize information, and why geography is important.

Jen loves to spend time with her family, is an avid sports fan, and loves to watch all the local teams play. She can often be found cheering on the Linwood Monroe sports teams!
